Giveaway Time!

Posted by on Sep 27, 2012 in Dinner, News | 8 comments

I’m willing to bet we have at least two things in common: 1. We love free stuff. 2. We love REAL FOOD. This giveaway covers both of those things, and even has some FREE REAL FOOD, which is a wonderful combination of the two items above. The heart behind this giveaway is Prop 37, which is a bill that will make it required by law for products containing genetically modified organisms to be labeled accordingly. It sounds like a no-brainer, but there are plenty of companies that do not want prop 37 to pass.  Scary, no? Here’s a visual to give you an idea of how many...

Those of us who value our health are okay with this of course, because we know that most portable food items on the grocery store shelves are not actually food. But still, I’m willing to bet that every label reader out there has found themselves hangry at an inopportune time and wished that there were more options. The Lärabar has been a go-to food bar for many, due to their simplicity...

Pineapple Red Curry with Chicken

Since moving to San Francisco, Thai delivery has been one of my favorite luxuries. But I’ve been avoiding it, pretty sure that there is gluten-y soy sauce in just about every dish. While I won’t deny that I’m a bit saddened by my dining out options dwindling, I’m happy for dishes like these that are easily recreated at home. The most time consuming part of this dish is the veggie prep, so feel free to choose your own adventure! Go all out with loads of variety, or keep it simple and choose one or two. Either way, few things can warm you to the bone like a bowl of...
