Ingredients for Bee Pollen Chocolate Cake
– 150 g dates
– 300 g pecan nuts
– 150 g dried figs

– 3 tablespoons honey
– 150 g hazelnuts
– 60 g cacao butter
– 1 tablespoons raw honey
– 3 tablespoon raw cacao powder
– 2 teaspoon raw dark agave nectar
– 120 g cacao powder
– 200 g coconut oil
– 2 tablespoons bee pollen
1. Line your cake tin with grease proof paper.
2. In a small bowl, shave the cacao butter very finely then transfer it in a large bowl of hot water and wait for it to melt.
3. Grind the hazelnuts using a food processor until it becomes very fine. Then, combine it with other ingredients. Set aside and let it chill.
4. Grind the pecan nuts as well and add the remaining ingredients together. Blitz everything.
5. Combine the icing ingredients and chill for about 10-20 minutes.
6. Run a round blade knife around the edge of the cake and carefully remove the tin. Spread the icing and dust with bee pollen.
